Do you love movies? I simply can't get enough of that big screen, and surround sound. There's just something about the movie theater. You get to lounge in a dark room with a gargantuan bucket of buttery popcorn and a 50 ounce soda. How can anyone say no to that? Most of all, films allow us a much-needed break from the all too stressful norms of reality. At least for a couple hours we can be swept away by a good story. Fortunately these days we don't even have to have movie tickets to catch a good flick. With the amazing technology in the privacy of our own homes, we can basically enjoy a film whenever we please. By the way, what movies do you like? I have always been partial to the far-out stuff. I want the film to take me to different worlds. I've had enough of reality. I get that everyday. This is why I spend my money on horror and science fiction DVDs. Now that's entertainment.
What are your favorite science fiction DVDs? It seems like The Matrix trilogy has changed the genre altogether, and I mean this in a good way. So many individuals, who never really cared for science fiction DVDs, suddenly had a change of heart after viewing The Matrix. What is it about this film? It's almost like it encompasses all genres of film at once. Now that's a great idea for a movie. Appeal to the broadest audience you possibly can. Many of us get caught up in the cliche science fiction DVDs, such as Star Trek and Star Wars. These flicks aren't the be-all end-all to science fiction DVDs. There is so much more out there. Take my favorite science fiction DVD for example. It's a little movie called "The Thing" by John carpenter. This is the epitome of great classic Sci-Fi. It's a clever combination of horror and science fiction.
